Optical properties of aerosols including Aerosol optical depth (AOD), Angstrom exponent (AE) and Single scattering albedo (SSA)) were derived analyzed for classifying the identification possible sources with percentage contribution over an urban-industrial city Raipur, India, during year 2019 to 2021. The mean annual values AOD AE 2019–2021 0.53 ± 0.2 1.20 0.33 respectively, highest in summer:(0.67 0.21 (0.98 0.13)), spring: (0.52 0.17 (0.93 0.23)), autumn: (0.59 (1.36 0.26)) winter: (0.44 0.15 (1.49 0.15)) respectively. results revealed dominance finer higher (lower) value winter (summer) season. Whereas, lower (higher) SSA indicated presence absorbing types aerosols. Based on aerosol characteristics (AOD versus AE), three distinct discovered throughout study period, namely mixed (60%), biomass-urban (37%), dust (3%). To discriminate between urban biomass burning aerosols, (AE SSA) examined found main sources: (71%) (21%) (8%).
